Spring between 2 nodes

Two-node-springs are geometrically defined by two connection points in the cross section. The spring have to be connected at least at one node to a structure node of a part at the segment point. The other node is situated at the second connection point. The active segment is represented at the right part of the window, whilst the second segment may be chosen by the user at the left part of the GUI.

Setting	Description
Segment point	The spring can be placed either before or after a certain segment point.
Element	Element number. The element numbers of springs are not considered when executing the automatically enumeration. The correctness of the element numbers is up to the user.
Connection Point	Defines the connection point where the spring has to be connected to. This points must be defined at the Cross-Section-Window
Use as element position	Defines to which segment the spring is assigned to
Node	The node may either be defined by a part or directly by a node number
Constants	The support and spring constants must be defined using this button.
